i want to know if the relaxing of rules on blood fractions bears any relation to the medical needs of gb members as they became more vulnerable to fatal conditions.

vaccines stopped being banned just before n h knorr went on his world tour and didn't want to come back from 3rd world in a coffin.. witchtowers of the time said members would have to take the consequences of standing by the old teaching on vaccines personally, wt hung them out to dry.. i dont have access to names or death certificates of gb members dying, but who can find this info, and how it might relate to conditions needing blood in some form?.

i reckon when the blood teaching bites the dust finally, the witnesses will be left out in the cold too: " follow your own conscience , it's your problem now, not ours...".

As far as I know, you can get anyone's death certificate. You just have to pay the cost. The cost is anywhere between $20.00 and more.

I have wondered about the allowing of blood fractions and organ transplants.

My thoughts were that somebody in the WT high up's family or friends,

needed some extra "medical help" so presto- chango , they heard God say, "Hey Fellas. It is all A-OK with me now".

My mom smoked cigarettes and my dad smoked cigars even after they were baptized.

When I was a little girl, my mom would write a note to the store owner giving me permission to buy her cigarettes. ??? lol She would tell me which brand she wanted (Camel's or Lucky Strike. (Whichever was the more fashionable advertised brand of the moment) She would send me off alone to walk the 3 blocks to the Boulevard, where the store was. I remember doing it when I was 4 years old!

I remember one party my parents had. Only JW's. The ash tray's overflowed and some careless ones left burnt marks in our wood living room furniture. The booze... There was a lot of it. One sister was too drunk to go home, so spent the night. This was about 1955.

PS My mom was trying for a cleaner image, so it could be that that party was the last time she and dad smoked OR had that much free booze at a party.

both jws and former jws dont seem to remember that up until 1990, jws sold magazines, books, and brochures from door to door.

you went to either the magazine or the literature counter and bought publications that you were going to sell.

pioneers would get a slight discount.
